Parent involvement in the education of our students is strongly encouraged, and parental representation is valued.
There is an opportunity for everyone to become involved in education at this school.
Communication with parents occurs frequently through regular newsletters, parent sessions, formal reporting, parent-teacher interviews, school activities and the Parents and Citizens' Association.
A warm invitation is extended to parents to participate in the activities of the school.
The school takes an interest in and cares about parents and children at Caloundra Primary.
Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month in the administration building, commencing at 6.00 pm.

School Garden
Our school garden is located behind the Year 1 classroom block and is run entirely by dedicated volunteers.
Students are welcome to visit the garden before and after school; however, they must be supervised by a parent or carer at all times.
We warmly welcome donations of plants, vegetable seedlings, herbs, gardening supplies and equipment. One of the garden's key goals is to provide fresh produce for use in Cal Café whenever possible.
Students have the opportunity to visit the garden weekly during first break, where they can enjoy planting, watering, weeding and learning about sustainable gardening practices.
If you would like to volunteer or support the garden in any way, please contact the P&C Association at:
