You can enrol now for Prep 2024. Children born 1st July 2018 – 30th June 2019 are eligible for Prep in 2024. If you child was born before 1st July 2018 but has not started school, they must attend Prep in 2024. If your child was born in July 2019, you can apply for 'early entry' to Prep in 2024 and each early entry application will be dealt with on a case by case basis by the leadership team.

We continue to take enrolments for Prep 2023 for children born 1st July 2017 – 30th June 2018.
'There is no zoning attached to Prep enrolments until capacity is reached. Families living outside the catchment are welcome to apply for enrolment by completing the Expression of interest for Out of Catchment Enrolment Form.'
Current proof of residency at the address indicated can be provided by way of one of each of the following:
- One primary source - a current lease agreement, or rates notice, or unconditional sale agreement, and
- One secondary source - a utility bill (e.g. electricity, gas) showing this same address and parent's/legal guardian's name.
When enrolling a student for Prep we are required to sight and copy the child's Birth Certificate.
Our Transition visits and Orientation day dates are included in our CSS Transition to Prep 2024 document.
The newly renovated, fully air-conditioned Prep area provides a developmentally appropriate educational environment for children. Highly experienced teachers and teacher aides implement a full-day program (8.50 am – 3.00 pm) 5 days a week.
The Caloundra State School Prep program includes:
