Caloundra State Primary School boasts a large number of talented students in the academic, arts and sporting fields which has the school community celebrating success and thinking outside the box when it comes to providing an engaging and enriching school environment.
Once such student is talented dancer Madison Randl, who trains 7 days a week at the Sunshine Coast Conservatory of Dance and whose major 2013 accomplishments include; acceptance into the prestigious Australian Ballet Interstate Training Program, Sunshine Coast Dance Eisteddfod - Age Aggregate, Most Promising Performer 12U, Junior Bursary Finalist, CSTD Redcliffe Eisteddfod- Age Aggregate, Junior CSTD Scholarship Winner, South East QLD Performing Arts Festival – 1st Place  Junior Jazz/Funk, Tap and Modern Championships and 2nd Place Junior Classical Championship.
Madison was recently announced a finalist in the Caloundra Electorate ‘Young Achiever of the Year’ Awards for 2014; nominated for her dedication to her dance, academic and leadership pursuits. Madison was formally recognised at the presentation ceremony held on Friday 21st March and is pictured above with the Hon. Mal Brough.
