Caloundra Open Night certainly went off with a splash on Tuesday night. Principal Stephen Logan, Adopt a Cop Kelly and Chappie Craig all took up the challenge and had 30kg of ice and 100 litres of cold water dumped on their heads by groundsman Craig O’Brien , courtesy of the school tractor. The challenge followed sensational performances by the school choir, junior and senior strings and the school band. Parents and students were then invited to peruse the school Book Week and Art show displays while being serenaded by the school’s guitar group. An outstanding night of excellence and endeavour. Principal Stephen Logan would like to pass the Ice Bucket challenge on to the principals of Golden Beach, Currimundi, Meridan and Talara to help continue raising awareness and funds for Motor Neurone disease.
