Recently Caloundra Primary was very lucky to be visited by the honourable John-Paul Langbroek. Mr Langbroek was particularly impressed when he was invited along to the year seven classrooms to inspect the work students have been doing with robotics. Class teacher Mr David Adkins and student William Fox very proudly explained to the minister how the program was structured and how the robots worked. Each year Caloundra Primary is one of few schools on the coast who compete in the state-wide Robocup held in Brisbane each year.
After viewing the Robotics program Mr Langbroek moved on to view the school instrumental band that has been hard at work preparing for Fanfare later this year.
