As the newly appointed Principal, it is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Caloundra State Primary School - a school with a rich history and strong academic achievements that serves a strong, supportive local community.

I look forward with interest to the great achievements of all students at this school, knowing that each one of them is capable of meeting the challenges of their future with the care, guidance and inspiration that the teachers and staff will provide in the years to come. This will be made possible by providing opportunities that engage and excite the students in a learning environment where they will want to learn. Involving the whole community will be integral in this learning process through the enlivenment of our four school rules - Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be a Learner.

My primary focus will be improving the outcomes of the students at Caloundra State Primary School. We will continually review how we deliver the curriculum so that it is relevant, challenging and enjoyable, as well as teaching the skills each child will need to be successful in all facets of life. By creating a learning culture where teachers and support staff, parents and students are all committed to, and enthusiastic about becoming life-long learners, we will achieve our goals.
